"What I particularly appreciated was Stellar's ability to tailor their recommendations to our product's current stage of development. We were starting from scratch and were concerned that their recommendations might be out of touch with our reality, or that the investment plan would be too burdensome. On the contrary, their plan was fully tailored to our needs, yet still ambitious. That was all it took to get the executive committee and all the teams on board."

Mission

Allshare has been a software publisher for over 30 years. The company provides powerful, customizable budget management, control and forecasting solutions to key accounts, via a low-code platform. Today, Allshare is evolving into a SaaS software company with a strong product culture, by strengthening its organization and its capacity to innovate on a large scale.

How Stellar Supported Allshare

Tangible results
s toward a high-performing product organization

Stellar's support has enabled Allshare to establish a solid foundation for a mature product organization, supporting its transition to a SaaS model and sustainable growth.

  • Structured Product Team: A dedicated team, led by a Product Director, now enables strategy and priorities to be coordinated centrally. This fosters better collaboration and the sharing of best practices, with a genuine breaking down of silos among teams.
  • Standardization of core software: A common foundation enables one-click deployment and allows development efforts to be shared among customers.
  • Clarity of roadmaps: Each project manager has an independent roadmap, enabling better prioritization and smoother execution.
  • Strategic alignment: Product decisions are now aligned with business priorities, driving double-digit growth. Deployment time has been reduced from 6 months to 15 days.
Challenge

From problem to solution: How Allshare overcame its challenges

Allshare overcame a number of challenges that were hindering its growth and development. Here’s how Stellar helped them overcome these obstacles to accelerate their growth and achieve their goals.

#1 Structuring a product organization to align with your SaaS goals

Allshare sought to strengthen its product culture by clarifying its vision, defining a shared roadmap, and defining roles. This evolution now enables us to better prioritize development efforts and accelerate the time-to-market for customer requests.

Structuring a product team

Creation of a Product Unit, appointment of a Product Director, and recruitment of two Product Managers to define the vision, develop roadmaps, and support the SaaS transformation.

#2 Different versions for different customers

Each major account had its own dedicated instance of the platform, making it impossible to deploy updates simultaneously and driving up maintenance costs.

Establishing a common, modular foundation

Development of a standardized software core designed to accommodate specific customer requirements through modules, ensuring product stability while enabling simultaneous deployment across the entire installed base.

#3 Slow progress and mounting technical debt

The lack of standards and clear priorities led to constant rework and long delivery times.

Implementation of an agile roadmap and processes

Definition of a clear, structured roadmap, supported by product scoping methods, to improve visibility, prioritization, and execution speed.
